About Leo

I’m an Illustrator, Plastic Artist and Musician from Paris, France.

I use acrylic paint, spray paint, ink and pencil to create my artworks.

I studied drawing and architecture at ESAG Penninghen, jazz and modern music at IMEP, design à l’Académie Charpentier, strip cartoon and illustration at CESAN.

Son of two photographers, I unconsciously learned to use my photographic eye to compose images and more. Architecture, street art, nature, pop culture and music are all inspirations for my work.

What does a penguin lost on an ice cube would look like ? How would an artichoke look like if it wore a two-pieces suit ? What if Paris had colorful buildings ?

Here are few of the ideas and questions I ask myself before creating something. That unending questioning got me to the following objective: what if I painted on something else than paper ?

By combining my artistic, hobbyist and handyman souls, I wanted to give a second life to an object that is dear to me: my Game Boy.

Today my work is in constant evolution in an ever growing collection on multiple supports.

Je suis artiste plasticien, illustrateur et musicien basé à Paris.

Je réalise des oeuvres à l’acrylique, à la bombe, à l’encre et au crayon.

J’ai étudié le dessin et l’architecture à l’ESAG Penninghen, le jazz et les musiques actuelles à l’IMEP, le design à l’Académie Charpentier, la bande dessinée et l’illustration au CESAN.

Fils de deux parents photographes, j'ai été inconsciemment initié à l’oeil photographique qui me sert pour composer mes images et plus encore. Architecture, street art, nature, pop culture et musique sont tous des sources d’inspiration pour mon travail.

A quoi ressemble un pingouin qui se serait perdu sur un glaçon ? Que donnerait un artichaut s’il portait un costume deux pièces ? Et si Paris avait des immeubles colorés ?

Voici quelques unes des idées et interrogations que je me pose avant de créer une oeuvre. Ce questionnement ininterrompu m’a amené à la réflexion suivante : Et si je peignais sur autre chose que du papier ?

Alliant donc mes âmes d’artiste, de collectionneur et de bricoleur, j’ai voulu donner une deuxième vie à un objet qui m’est cher : ma Game Boy.

Aujourd’hui mon travail est en évolution constante dans une collection qui ne cesse de se multiplier ainsi que sur des supports divers.
